A Unique Safety Tool

App Review

If you are in danger or experiencing an emergency, do you know what to do? At one time there was only one thing you could do and that was call 911. But with the advent of smartphones that seems to no longer be the case. Well, the simplest and fastest way to get help is with the new safety app, Planet 911.

This robust safety tool is unique in its simplicity. Here’s how it works. Once the app is downloaded and you are faced with an emergency, all you have to do is open the app and tap one of two buttons. The Level 1 alert button is a large yellow circle on the home screen. Tap it and your emergency contacts are immediately sent a text and e-mail alert with your location and a brief message. And as soon as the Level 1 or Level 2 button is tapped, Planet 911 automatically records all audio and video and stores the footage in a secure cloud. The Level 2 alert button is a large red circle that is for you to use in case of an emergency where there is an injury or threat of injury. Once you tap the Level 2 alert your emergency contacts are sent a text and e-mail with your location and your emergency. Your device will start recording audio and video as well as blare out a siren and a strobe light using the camera’s flash. Planet 911 will also call 911 in the case of an emergency. In a real emergency you do not have time to mess with complicated features or text details to more than one person. Planet 911 takes care of all communications with the simple push of a button.

You want to be prepared in case of an emergency, so go on and head over to the app store to download Planet911 today.
