Translate Text with a Simple Camera Shot

If you’re touring through the streets of Little Tokyo or Japan and need some assistance in understanding the language, then Google Translate’s newest update can allow you to translate from Japanese to English.

Using Google’s Word Lens technology, it translates text on signs, menus, and billboards. Open the app, point the camera in the direction of the text, and you’ll get yourself an English translation.
