degree – World’s First Wearable In-Ear Thermometer

Consumer Update

Anyone who’s a parent knows both the struggles and rewards that come with raising a child. Any parent ESPECIALLY knows how tough it can be to care for a sick child. degree knows this hardship and has chosen to do something about it.

Being the world’s very first wearable in-ear thermometer for children, degree was designed by two engineers and with the intent to help parents monitor their child’s fever.

This wearable can take your child’s body temperature continually from within the ear canal. The information is then sent to the accompanying app so parents can track how the fever is progressing.

The convenience in degree’s transference of data is to let you know if the treatment you’re administering is effective or not. If the temperature rises to a more serious level, degree will send an alarm to your phone letting you know to tend to your child.

degree will also let you set the temperature level so it will know when to send you an alert. In addition, it provides features such as a map that will show the next pharmacy to buy medicine/pick up prescriptions from or offer suggestions on what else you can do to lower your child’s fever.

degree is currently running a campaign on Kickstarter. If you want to show support or donate towards this product, be sure to head to Kickstarter and search for “degree” today!
