Beat the Blaze – Fire Safety Education Made Fun

Consumer Update

Educating yourself and your community on fire safety is incredibly significant and probably a subject we don’t refresh ourselves as much as we should.

More often than not, fires are accidentally started because those involved ignored or were unaware of basic fire safety rules.

A group that’s committed to delivering reliable insurance solutions, products and services that protect assets and promote sustainability of affordable housing is HAI Group. They’ve gone ahead and created a game designed to educate people on key information related to fire safety in a fun and enjoyable way.

Enter Beat the Blaze.

Beat the Blaze is a browser-based game that allows players to select a character of their choosing. The goal? To make it through a home as fast as possible while answering important fire safety questions.

In turn, you’ll receive bonus points and time added to the clock for every question you answer correctly. If you answer a question incorrectly, you’ll lose points and watch the time get closer to zero.

Beat the Blaze tests knowledge on important information like smoke alarm maintenance, fire safety plans, and common causes of home fires.

In addition, HAI Group offers a plethora of other e-learning resources for risk management and training.

If you’re interested in brushing up on your fire safety education or learning how the HAI Group is protecting, preserving, and promoting safe and affordable housing, head on over to
