Holiday Swap – The Tinder of Traveling

Travel/AppWatch

One thing that can make your life richer without the moolah is traveling. Though, there’s a double-edged sword on that one because traveling can be costly.

Currently nicknamed the “Travel Tinder” by Business Insider, Holiday Swap is looking to disrupt the travel industry by making world traveling affordable.

It’s no question that people wish to travel more and more and for cheaper. If there’s a way to keep those costs down, it allows us to be able to gain more time back and be able to use that extra money in our pockets.

Holiday Swap is on its way to disrupt the travel industry by making it more accessible to more of us, particularly millennials. Millennials – everyone wants more with less – and they tend to save less money than people traditionally did before.

Technology has meant that the world is more accessible to us at the palm of our hands. And with this, they’re trying to allow a sharing economy, using the bed that you sleep in at night to give you that accessibility to save more money and spend it on the essentials such as flights, experiences, tours, and more.

The way Holiday Swap works is putting your place up there. It can be a room, a house, penthouse, or villa. Holiday Swap lets you set your preferences accordingly. Be as wild as you wish and swap with people. All you do is swipe and like the places – you’ll then match up.

What’s more is you can see who has liked you and start building your community. Once you’ve matched with people, you can chat with them and see if you want to swap with them on dates or if you want to be hosted by them. For example, you can go on and say, “I have these people I’ve matched within France so I’ll see if they’d like to swap with me on a certain date.”
